Mr. and Mrs. Sam McCreight of Pontotoc announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Joy, to Justin Joseph Anders, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Anders of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 7, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova, Tenn.
Miss McCreight is the granddaughter of Cleo Herring of Saltillo and the late Mottie Herring, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam McCreight Sr. of Pontotoc.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Pontotoc High School and received a degree in human sciences with an emphasis in food, nutrition and dietetics.
She is employed as a consultant dietitian with Nutrition Systems Inc.
Mr. Anders is the grandson of Ethel S. Gwaltney of Meridian and the late Fred Gwaltney, the late Mr. and Mrs. M.R. "Bilbo" Anders, and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Griffin of Brandon.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Lamar High School and received a degree in business administration from Mississippi State University.
He is employed by Lane Home Furnishings.
A reception will be held in the church parlor following the ceremony.
