The classic radio show "Remember When" can be heard Sunday, from 1 p.m.-3 p.m., on FM-103.3.
It will salute Jimmie Rodgers and his music, according to the producer-host, Carl Fitzgerald. The radio special, created by Fitzgerald in January 1983, has profiled hundreds of guests and carried many historical stories in its more than 20 years of broadcasting.
Fitzgerald's special guest on Sunday will be radio pioneer, Noel Adcock, who was affiliated with WMOX radio for some 28 years. More recently, Adcock was heard on WMER with "old time music" in the mornings.
A classic interview recorded in 1979 with the late Ernest Tubb, will also be heard in part.
The bus is now on display at the Ernest Tubb Record Shop and Theater in Nashville.
