Retired
Services for Willard R. Pickett will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Winnie McMahon and Rodney Sessions officiating. Burial will be in Devoe Cemetery.
Mr. Pickett, 84, of Petal, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at Forest General Hospital. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Hilda Pickett of Petal; four sons, Ray Pickett and his wife, Betty, and Toby Pickett, all of Texas City, Texas, Ronnie Pickett and his wife, Jan, and Paul Pickett and his wife, Diane, all of Meridian; a daughter, Judi Peavey and her husband, Bob, of Birmingham, Ala.; two stepsons, Robert Pearce and Mark Pearce and his wife, Jeanie, all of Petal; a stepdaughter, Laura Humphrey and her husband, Gary, of Seminary; 12 grandchildren, Tim Pickett, Bryan Creel, Lance Pickett, Clayton Creel, Alex Pickett, Daniel Pickett, Mandy Pickett, Jaime Pickett, Adam Pickett, Austin Pickett, Matthew Humphrey and Samuel Humphrey; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Mary Pickett; and two brothers, Arnold Pickett and M.F. "Bill" Pickett.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be John Collins and Scott Lee.
Visitation will be today from 4:30 p.m.-8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time at James F. Webb Funeral Home in Meridian.

UNION Services for Jerry Dunajick will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mark Giles and Reggie Williams officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
Mr. Dunajick, 87, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Little Rock, died, Saturday, March 8, 2003, in New Mexico. He was retired from the Burroughs Corporation, more recently known as Unisys, where he served in St. Louis, Mo., and Mt. Vernon, Ill. for more than 40 years.
He is a retired major in the U.S. Army Signal Corps., and served five years in World War II, and 30 years in the Army Reserves. He had recently moved to a retirement village in Albuquerque.
Survivors include his daughters, Lee Ann Germany and her husband, Charles, of Vicksburg and Judy Sturtevant and her husband, John, of Albuquerque; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Huelsman of Columbia, Mo., and Clara Maurer of Hernando, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Dunajick.
Pallbearers will be Steve Rowell, David Germany, Bruce Williams, Rob Bond and Dale Williams.
Visitation will be Tuesday noon-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Eva Josephine "Jo" Fox will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mrs. Fox, 77, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, March 9, 2003, at Neshoba County General Hospital.
Survivors include her daughters, Vicky Rivers of Philadelphia and Sherry Fox of Jackson; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter; sisters, Betty Brown of Buckburnett, Texas, and Patricia Parker of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers, Charles Bancroft and Tommy Bancroft, both of Grand Prairie, Texas and Billy Joe Bancroft of Hearne, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "H.C" Fox.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for Blanche Juanita Pigott, 78, of Lexington, Ky., who died Sunday, March 9, 2003, in Lexington.
