Graveside services for William F. "Bill" Hudson will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. David Meadows officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hudson, 81, of Meridian, died Sunday, March 2, 2003, at Heartfelt Hospice. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Fifth Street United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Meridian Junior College.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Bonnie Hudson of Meridian; a daughter, Sheryl Feltenstein of Meridian; a son, Billy Hudson and his wife, Pam, of Atlanta; grandchildren, Billy Hudson Jr., Donna Barthes, Leigh Ann Kernop, Phil Ray and Dan Ray; great-grandchildren, Hudson Barthes and Morgan Hudson.
Visitation will be Tuesday 9 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Retired
Services for Fred Ridout will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Chris Winkleman, Roy Dabbs, and Marcus Finch officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Ridout, 78, of Meridian, died Saturday, March 1, 2003, in his home. He was retired from Graham Mayflower after more than 42 years. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Woodman of the World.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Ridout of Meridian; children, Janis Myers of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Leonard Ridout and his wife, Diane, of Meridian; three grandchildren, Robert Myers, Richard Myers and Eric Ridout; brothers, Earl Ridout and his wife, Helen, of Bailey and Roger Ridout and his wife, Carol, of Biloxi; sisters, Lozelle Reynolds of the House Community and Sybil Files and her husband, Lavertte, of Meridian; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janett Savell Ridout.
Memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund, Highway 145 South.
Pallbearers will be William Savell, Robert Savell, Jim Savell, Mark Savell, DeWayne Ridout, Rodney Ridout, Johnny Ridout, Justin Ridout and Jack Reynolds. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Cook, Kenneth Jones, Jackie Robinson, Donald Lewis, Wilbur Moffette, W.L. McAllister, Rawson Garland Cheatham and Bruce Morgan.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

UNION Services for John Henry McElhenney Sr. will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel. Masonic graveside services will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in Union. Arrangements with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home in Bay City, Texas and Milling Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. McElhenney, of Bay City, Texas, died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at Palacios Community Health Center in Palacios, Texas. He was born Jan. 6, 1923, in Stranton, to the late Hez Hardy and Mary Sue Lundy McElhenney. He was a member of the Methodist Church, a resident of Bay City, since 1990 and a former resident of Palacios. He was a refrigeration specialist and managed the Palacios Fuel and Ice Company until he retired in 1990. He was a member of the Forest Masonic Lodge #457 F &AM, the Hamasa Shrine Temple of Meridian and the Houston Scottish Rite Temple.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Sara Lee Hamrick McElhenney of Bay City; three sons, Ronnie McElhenney and his wife, Janie, of Bay City, Texas, Jerry McElhenney and his wife, Cora Ann, of Danville, Va., and John McElhenney Jr. and his wife, Virgian, of Gainsville, Ga.; sisters, Nona Davidson,and Bessie Goss, both of Sebastopol; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a very special cousin and friend, Lottie Frank Patterson of Decatur.

BROOKLYN,N.Y. May Ida Mauro, 78, of Brooklyn, formerly of Meridian, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003, in Brooklyn.
Survivors include her children, Joanne and Bryant of N.Y. and Delaware; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward Null, Bryant Null; sisters, Deloris, Ouida, and Bernice, all of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; and sisters, Blannie, Mildred, Ruby, Edna, Minnie, and Juanita, all of Meridian.
