Lisa Ann Chapman Pringle

Services for Lisa Ann Chapman Pringle will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edward O'Connor and the Rev. Dr. Carl White officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Ms. Pringle, 35, of Meridian, died Friday, Feb. 28, 2003, in Jackson. She attended St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She was a graduate of Meridian High School and also graduated from the University of Mississippi and the university's School of Nursing in Jackson.
Survivors include a daughter, Sarah Whitney Pringle of Meridian; her parents, Zane L. Chapman and Barbara Whitlock Chapman, also of Meridian; her paternal grandmother, Faye Chapman, also of Meridian; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Howard L. Chapman; and her maternal grandparents, Harold D. Whitlock Sr. and Mamie Dunnigan Whitlock.
The family requests that memorials be made to Highland Baptist Church or St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Pallbearers will David Batchelor Sr., Harold Whitlock Jr., Robert Whitlock, Paul Glosson, Harold Curtis Temple and Larry Williamson.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m at the funeral home.
James Strickland
Retired from Avery-Dennison
Services for James Strickland will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Malcolm Lewis and the Rev. Leon Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Strickland, 64, of Meridian, died Saturday, March 1, 2003, in Philadelphia. He was a 1955 graduate of Meridian High School and a member of Northcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include three children, Janice Dorman and her husband, Freddy, of Philadelphia, Robert Strickland of Meridian and Jennifer Tidwell and her husband, Ivan, of Water Valley; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Strickland of Meridian; five grandchildren, Kristin, Jessica, Amber Tippy, Sarah Dorman, Dylan Strickland and Frances Tidwell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Strickland; a brother, Charles Strickland; and his parents, Lena and Willard Strickland.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
William Vince Barber
Businessman
Services for William Vince Barber will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Raymon Leake and the Rev. David McCubbin officiating. Burial will be in Burwell Family Cemetery in Lauderdale County with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Barber, 74, of Meridian, died Friday, Feb. 28, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was the former owner of Duffell Awning Co. and was still affiliated in sales with this same company through United Fence Co.
Mr. Barber was an active member of First Baptist Church and served as a deacon and a faithful teacher for more than 40 years in the preschool and nursery department until his untimely death. This brought much joy to his life. He was a lifelong resident of Meridian.
Mr. Barber was a 1946 graduate of Meridian High School and a graduate of Meridian Junior College and was a former officer of the Meridian Junior College Alumni Association. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict.
He was an avid sports fan and attended almost all the Meridian High School Wildcats football home games for more than 50 years and was especially a loyal Mississippi State University Bulldog football fan. His other favorite sports were "Bully" baseball and basketball and professional football. He loved sports and kept up with them all.
Survivors include his wife of more than 42 years, Betty Keyes Barber of Meridian; a daughter, Amy Elizabeth Barber of Dallas; two sisters, Margaret Louise Barber and Olive Barber, both of Meridian; extended family members Irene P. Keyes of DeKalb, Harold Keyes and his wife, Martha Ann, John Keyes and his wife, Russelyn, Nell K. Wright and Mary K. Skelton, all of Meridian, and Emily K. Alger and her husband, William G. Alger, of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, O.V. Barber and Erleen Burwell Barber; a brother-in-law, Dr. Prentiss Keyes; and a sister-in-law, Cecelia K. Woodham.
Pallbearers will be Vernon Rawlings, Roger Fant, Earl Creekmore, Charles Roberts, Jere Skelton, Kent Skelton, Leonard Cobb and Owen Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mack Emmons, Joe Grant, Cecil Jones, Harvey Ray, Robert Hill and deacons of First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Fred Ridout
Services for Fred Ridout will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Ridout, 78, of Meridian, died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at his residence.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in DeKalb for O.C. McCoy of Bailey, who died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
