Stires, Hillman

Mr. and Mrs. David Stires of Ocean Springs announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Louise, to Pfc. Wilson Hillman of Collinsville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Haynes of Collinsville and Dr. Henry Hillman of Miami, N.M. Vows will be exchanged this summer at First Baptist Church in Biloxi.
Miss Stires is the granddaughter of Marjorie Stires of Ocean Springs and the late William Stires, and Amelda Cruthirds of Ocean Springs and the late Buford Cruthirds.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of St. Martin High School and received her associate's degree in art in 2002 from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She is presently attending the University of Mobile majoring in religion.
Mr. Wilson is the grandson of Bobbie H. Hillman of Richton and the late Elmer B. Hillman; Woodrow W. and Ophia Fulton of Collinsville; and James and Inez Haynes of Gulfport.
The bridegroom-elect is a 1996 graduate of Pillow Academy in Greenwood and received a degree in criminal justice in 2002 from Mississippi College. He is in the U.S. Marine Corps and completed basic training at Paris Island Training Center in North Carolina in January 2003. He is presently training at Camp Lejeune North Carolina and Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri.
