Services for Troy King will be held today at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Winstead officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. King, 72, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, in his home. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his sons, Travis King and his wife, Peggy, and Johnny King and his wife, Pam; a brother, Carnes King; sisters, Carol Palmer and Maudie Shoemaker; grandchildren, Johnny Ray King, William Paul King and Rebecca Nicole King.
Pallbearers will be Malcolm Gray, Mike Huggins, Jeff Huggins, Steve Hill, David Daniels and Bobby Jones.

MACON Services for C.F. Jackson will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Snowden officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson, 81, of Macon, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at Riley Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his sisters, Onita Edgeworth of Mobile, Ala., Genell Davis of Niceville, Fla., and Inez Alexander of Wiggins; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine M. Jackson.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Norma Lee Crabtree

Graveside services for Norma Lee Crabtree will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Revs. George Skelton and Barry Skelton officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Crabtree, 81, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, in her home. She was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Phil Crabtree of Meridian; sons, Ronald P. Crabtree of Meridian and Shawan Crabtree of Pensacola, Fla.; sisters, Helen Skelton of Dalewood and Bobby Webb of Meridian; brothers, Charlie Gowen and Jimmy Gowen, both of Meridian; grandchildren, Phillip and Summer Crabtree; and great-grandchildren, Jackson and Dawson Crabtree.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Clara Brown Monette will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Monette, 87, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home. She was born Dec. 12, 1915, in Lauderdale and was the daughter of Will and Ida Brown. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and retired as front desk manager at Holiday Inn South after more than 27 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Rita Monette Tillman and her husband, James, of Meridian; sons, L.C. Monette and his wife, Martha, of Hendersonville, Tenn., and David Michael Monette and his wife, Joanne, of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Keely Monette Davis of Olive Branch, Tony Monette of Charlotte, N.C., Todd Monette of Houston, Texas, Jim Tillman and Steve Tillman, both of Madison, Tracy Monette of Hendersonville, Claire Monette, Megan Monette and Michael Monette II, all of Nashville; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Brown Thompson of Meridian and Elizabeth Brown Kidd of Houston, Texas; a brother, Buck Brown and his wife, Joanne, of Suqualena; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, B.F. Monette; a son, James W. Monette; brothers, George M. Brown, Sam Brown, Wallace C. Brown, John Brown and Marion R. Brown; sisters, Louise Brown Gully, Lucille Brown Davis and Nell Brown Brady.
Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church Building Fund or Hope Village for Children.
Pallbearers will be Bill Davis, Todd Monette, Tony Monette, Jim Tillman, Steve Tillman and Michael Monette II.

Mr. Sturdivant, 67, of Needham, Ala., died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Ollie Pearl Sturdivant of Needham; a daughter, Carolye S. Dorman of El Dorado, Ark.; sons, Marshall Sturdivant and Tommy Sturdivant, both of Needham, and Mike Sturdivant of Demopolis, Ala.; a sister, Louise Todd of Lisman, Ala.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Calvin H. Bane will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. Dr. Wayne Hill and Gilbert Allan officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Winston County.
Mr. Bane, 89, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at Neshoba County Nursing Home in Philadelphia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Oma Oleta Bane of Philadelphia; daughters, Maxine Jenkins of Union and Catherine Kelley of Monroe, La.; sons, Dwight Bane of Philadelphia and Tommy Bane of Union; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Betts, 51, of Toomsuba, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his daughter, Gene Ann Betts; a son, Ezekiel Betts Jr., both of Los Angeles; his mother, Esther Betts of Toomsuba; sisters, Vernell Hill of Brandon, Evelyn Perry of Los Angeles, Shirley Johnson, Cynthia Shaw and Sandra Ellis, all of Atlanta; brothers, McGrady Betts, and Zachary Betts, both of Toomsuba, Henry T. Betts, Moses Betts and Timothy Betts, all of Los Angeles; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father.
