DEKALB Services for Lawrence Cotton will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Gholson with the Rev. Benjamin Pittman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cotton, 55, of Macon, formerly of DeKalb, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine Cotton of Macon; a son, Christopher Cotton and his wife, Alanna, of Stanford, Calif.; a daughter, Aliceson Cotton Foote and her husband, Joey, of Albuquerque, N.M.; a mother, Annie B. Cotton, of DeKalb; three grandchildren, five brothers, Therrell Cotton and his wife, Doris, of Anderson, Ind.; Wendell Cotton and his wife, Julia, of DeKalb; Bernard Cotton and his wife, Jackie, of Vicksburg; Robert Cotton and his wife, Jeanette, of Anderson, Ind.; and Travis Cotton and his wife, Doris, of DeKalb; two sisters, Addie White and her husband, Jerry, of Anderson; and Bobbie Cotton of Atlanta; uncles, an aunt and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
EZEKIEL BETTS SR.
Services for Ezekiel Betts Sr. will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Toomsuba with the Rev. Tony Burks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Betts, 51, of Toomsuba, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his daughter, Ann Betts and his son, Ezekiel Betts Jr., both of Los Angeles; his mother, Esther Betts of Toomsuba; five sisters, Vernell Hill of Brandon; Evelyn Perry of Los Angeles; Shirley Johnson, Cynthia Shaw and Sandra Ellis, all of Atlanta; five brothers, McGrady Betts and Zachary Betts, both of Toomsuba; Henry T. Betts, Moses Betts and Timothy Betts, all of Los Angeles; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
TAMA CLARK

Services for Tama Clark will be held Wednesday at noon at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Clark, 91, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at Queen City Nursing Center.
Survivors include a sister, Rachel Clayton of Meridian and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3 p.m.- 5 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
WILLIAM CHAMBLISS

Services for William Chambliss will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. Ollie Patton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Chambliss, 54, of Meridian, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Chambliss, and his mother, Rosetta Chambliss, both of Meridian; three sisters, Irene King of Enterprise; Ida Watts of Milwaukee, Wisc.; and Lou Rilla McKeney of Racine, Wisc.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shanta Chambliss, and his father, William F. Chambliss Jr.
Visitation will be held Wednesday at funeral home.
