Ward 4 councilman plans clean-up

Meridian City Councilman Jesse Palmer says he will meet with church officials tonight to plan an all-day clean-up of Ward 4.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. at Carver Middle School.
This idea came after a local church group attended a city council meeting.
Palmer said he wrote letters to all of the ministers in his Ward, inviting them to tonight's meeting and asking them to bring two people each from their respective churches.
Palmer hopes to set a date at tonight's meeting, and says he wants the clean-up to be fun for the volunteers.
