Plans announced for Home Builders &Master Gardener's Expo

The weather was cold Tuesday, but organizers already were looking toward the spring when they announced plans for the Home Builders &Master Gardener Expo next month.
The event which will feature booths that showcase new ideas from builders, contractors, electricians, carpenters and plumbers is set for March 15 at the Lauderdale County Agri-Center.
In addition to home builders from all over the state, this year's show will feature representatives from the Lauderdale County Master Gardeners part of the Mississippi State University Extension Service office.
Businesses specializing in decorating, carpeting, plumbing and other areas will be spotlighted. Seal said about 30 businesses will participate; he said he has had inquiries from people in Florida, Arkansas and Louisiana.
The event also will feature several seminars.
Scott Gray, president of the Home Builders Association, added: "We hope to start a new tradition at the Agri-Center with the show."
The Home Builders &Master Gardener Show also will have live entertainment. Britt Gully will portray Jimmie Rodgers and perform with the Jimmie Rodgers Entertainers beginning at 4 p.m. on the day of the show.
