WALLACE E. COVINGTON

Services for Wallace E. Covington will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Paul Honomichl officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Covington, 80, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at Riley Hospital. He was owner and operator of a logging company. He was a member and deacon of Bailey Presbyterian Church. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Frank Covington and his wife, Carole, of Auburn, Ala., and Terry Covington and his wife, Terrye, of Meridian; three grandchildren, Amanda Covington, Lance Covington and Lauren Covington; a sister, Dollie Mae Mosley of Daleville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Covington, and three sisters, Gladys Rhaley, Elizabeth Bruner and Terry Covington.
The family requests that memorials be made to a favorite charity.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Earnest Terry Mosley, Billy Mosley, Wallace Mosley, Alton Mosley, Terry Cherry, Mose Fleming and Jerry Butler.
THE REV. JAMES SKINNER
UNION Services for the Rev. James Skinner will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Little Rock with the Rev. Len Chesney officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of arrangements.
Rev. Skinner, of Little Rock, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at his residence.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
WILLIAM F. "BILL" WOOTEN
Retired railroad manager
Graveside services for William F. "Bill" Wooten will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Russel officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wooten, 83, of Enterprise, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, at Riley Hospital. He was a retired manager for the railroad. He was also a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his children, Margaret Jones and her husband, Earl, of Enterprise, Billy F. Wooten and his wife, Barbara, of Greenwood, Freddie Wooten and his wife, Margaret, of Meridian, and Kathy Briggs and her husband, Jerry, of Birmingham, Ala.; sisters Bernice Entrekin of Enterprise and Lucille Bustrick of Cleveland, Ga.; a brother, John Wooten of Alexandria, Ala.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Entrekin Wooten; a sister, Hazel; and a brother, Walter Wooten.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Billy Wooten Jr., Fredrick Wooten Jr., Greg Wooten, Eric Wooten, Austin Scott and Jason "Jay" Briggs.

Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Flora Walk, 90, of Meridian, who died Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, at Speciality Hospital of Meridian.
HAZEL SHELBY
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Hazel Shelby, 87, of Toomsuba, who died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
