Terry and Linda Goodman of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Erika Leanne, to Clifton Lamar Busby Jr., son of Patricia and Clifton L. Busby Sr. of Lucedale.
The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, at 4 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church in Whynot.
Miss Goodman is the granddaughter of Odis A. Shirley, Jewel Shirley, and Leland and Carolyn Goodman of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and is a student in the nursing program at Meridian Community College pursuing a degree in registered nursing.
Miss Goodman is employed by Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Busby is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Brown of Lucedale.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of George County High School and Jones County Junior College.
While attending JCJC, he was a member of the Maroon Typhoon Marching Band.
Mr. Busby is employed by Asplundh Tree Cutting Services.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
