    Obituaries for Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003

    Connie W. Madden
    UNION Services for Connie W. Madden will be held today at 11 a.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Hilton Moore and Charles Morrow officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
    Mr. Madden, 83, of Union, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
    Survivors include his wife, Eugie Madden of Union; a sister, Merl Jones and her husband, Leon, of Lake; a brother, Junior Madden and his wife, Frances, of Forest; and several nieces and nephews.
    Pallbearers will be Randy Vance, Andy Vance, Charles Vance, Ted Jones, Carl Jones and Morgan Madden.
    Visitation will be today 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
    Vivian Wuestefeld
    Retired owner of Karl's Furniture
    Services for Vivian Wuestefeld will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Church of The Mediator with the Rev. Mike Dobrosky officiating. Burial will be in the columbarium at The Church of the Mediator with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Wuestefeld, 80, of Meridian, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home. She was a very active member of The Church of the Mediator along with her husband, Karl, for many years. She was an avid bridge player. She and her husband owned Karl's Furniture in Meridian for more than 20 years.
    Survivors include her daughter, Gale Ray of Charleston, S.C.; a son, Wayne Wuestefeld and his wife, Beth, of Meridian; a sister, Joan Flemming and her husband, David, of Michigan and Florida; grandchildren, Wendy Montgomery of Atlanta, Dabney Wuestefeld of Jackson, William Ray of Orlando, Fla., Ann Claire Wuestefeld and Elizabeth Wuestefeld, both of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa; great-grandchildren, Mary Landon and Emily Montgomery, Reid and Trent Wuestefeld; and her friend and caregiver, Fannie Jenkins of Meridian.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Wuestefeld.
    The family requests memorials be made to Parkinson's Foundation or The Church of the Mediator.
    Visitation will be Friday 9 a.m.-11 a.m. in the parish hall of the church. A vigil will be held from 5 p.m. Thursday until 9 a.m. Friday.
    Rob Robinson
    LOUISVILLE Graveside services for Rob Robinson will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Philadelphia with the Rev. Vince Loparo officiating. Nowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Robinson, 53, of Noxapater, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. He worked in carpentry and trucking.
    Survivors include two sons, Matthew Robinson and Gus Robinson, both of Atlanta; three sisters, Michael R. Loparo of Madison, Ohio, Linda R. Freitag of Columbus, Ohio and Debbie R. Mraz of Kirkland, Ohio; four brothers, David Robinson and Mark Robinson, both of Noxapater, Jimmy Robinson of Batesville and Pat Robinson of Tennessee.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
    Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Tilghman Funeral Home in Louisville.
    Audrey Mildred Collins Young

    NEWTON Graveside services for Audrey Mildred Collins Young will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Fuston Cemetery in Walnut Grove. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Young, 84, of Mesa, Ariz., died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at her home.
    Survivors include a son, Lonnie Young of Mesa.
    Willa Dove Hayden

    Services for Willa Dove Hayden will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Toomsuba.
    Mrs. Hayden, 92, of Cincinnati, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at Neshoba General Hospital in Philadelphia.
    Survivors include two daughters, Ann Hayden Peek of Meridian; Gloria Hayden Brown of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
    Visitation will be Saturday, 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.

    DEKALB Services for Bernice Coleman will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Preston with the Rev. Melvin Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Chamberlins Cemetery in Preston with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Coleman, 100, of Preston, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, in her home.
    Survivors include several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband.
    Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
