    Georgette Williams

    Retired respiratory therapist
    Memorial services for Georgette Williams will be held today at 2 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Theodis McSwain officiating.
    Mrs. Williams, 51, of Meridian, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
    Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Payne; her grandmother, Salema Robinson; brothers, Tyrone Harris and Gregory Harris; six children, Angela Rudolph, Tracey Watters, Mingon Williams, Franchesea Williams, Keith Williams and Virginia Williams.
    Vivian Wuestefeld
    Retired owner of Karl's Furniture
    Services for Vivian Wuestefeld will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Church of The Mediator with the Rev. Mike Dobrosky officiating. Burial will be in the columbarium at The Church of the Mediator with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Wuestefeld, 80, of Meridian, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home. She was a very active member of The Church of the Mediator along with her husband, Karl, for many years. She was an avid bridge player. She and her husband owned Karl's Furniture in Meridian for more than 20 years.
    Survivors include her daughter, Gale Ray of Charleston, S.C.; a son, Wayne Wuestefeld and his wife, Beth, of Meridian; a sister, Joan Flemming and her husband, David, of Michigan and Florida; grandchildren, Wendy Montgomery of Atlanta, Dabney Wuestefeld of Jackson, William Ray of Orlando, Fla., Ann Claire Wuestefeld and Elizabeth Wuestefeld, both of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa; great-grandchildren, Mary Landon and Emily Montgomery, Reid and Trent Wuestefeld; and her friend and caregiver, Fannie Jenkins of Meridian.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Wuestefeld.
    The family requests memorials be made to Parkinson's Foundation or The Church of the Mediator.
    Visitation will be Friday 9 a.m.-11 a.m. in the parish hall of the church. A vigil will be held from 5 p.m. Thursday until 9 a.m. Friday.
    Rosella Cole
    Retired domestic
    Services for Rosella Cole will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Enterprise Funeral Home with the Rev. Gregory Watkins officiating. Burial will be in St. Luke Church Cemetery.
    Mrs. Cole of Lauderdale, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Survivors include five sons, John Cole Jr. and his wife, Atilla, of Memphis, Willie H. Cole of Meridian; Sammie Cole and his wife, Latricia, of Lauderdale, Amos M. Cole and his wife, Freda, of Pompona, Fla., and Cason A. Cole of Stuart, Fla.; two daughters, Fannie Thedford and her husband, W.C., of Porterville and Annie Louise Pickens of Lauderdale; brothers, Havord Gordon of Meridian and Will Lewis Gordon; a sister, Sarah McGlothin of Meridian; 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, John N. Cole.
    Visitation will be Thursday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Earl W. Mommsen
    Services for Earl W. Mommsen will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home.
    Mr. Mommsen, 88, of Miami Springs, Fla., formerly of Chicago, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003. He served as a school teacher and guidance counselor in Miami-Dade County for 24 years and served more than three years in the South pacific during World War II in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Miami-Dade County Retired Educators Association, having retired in 1973, and the Florida Retired Teachers Association. He was an active member of Poinciana United Methodist Church for more than 50 years and was a wonderful and gentle husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He will be greatly missed.
    Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Virgie Warren Mommsen; two sons, Kent and Lowell; a daughter, Karen M. Tomanio; seven grandchildren, Ginny, Stephanie, Alice, Laurel, Julia, Christian and Sonji; and a great-granddaughter, Mana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Glen Martin Mommsen.
    The family requests memorials be made to Suqualena United Methodist Church, Highway 494, Meridian, MS.
    Visitation will be held Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Kelly Gene Freeman
    BUNKER HILL, Ill. Kelly Gene Freeman, 35, of Bunker Hill, formerly of Alton, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at St. Louis University Hospital in Missouri. Gent Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Survivors include his wife, Cindy Freeman; his mother, Paulette M. Freeman of Advance, Mo.; a daughter, Heather Ward Freeman of Bunker Hill; a son, Justin Gene Freeman of Bunker Hill; a sister, Ruthann Gunn of Advance; a brother, Ralph Lee Freeman Jr., and his wife, Kimberly, of Jerseyville; five nieces, Becky Threatt of St. Charles, Mo., Crystal Gunn of Meridian, Miss., Rachel Freeman, Hayley Freeman and Jillian Freeman, all of Jerseyville; two great nephews, Derek Threatt of Collinsville, Miss., and Zachary Finley of St. Charles.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Lee Freeman Sr.
