50th anniversary
Charles and Violet Levine celebrated their 50th anniversary on Nov. 22, 2002. The couple was surprised with a party hosted by their grandchildren in the Grand Ballroom at the Sheraton Hotel in New Orleans. Their grandchildren are Patrick Sanders, Ryan Motley, Christy Motley, Kim Robinson and Jason Cooper. In addition to a party the couple's children presented them with a cruise on the Carnival Conquest's Inaugural Cruise to the Grand Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico. Their children are, Linda Cobb, Danny and Michelle Levine, Rhonda and Mike Martin, and Patty and Steve Sanders.
50th anniversary
Robert and Coweela George will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, with a reception from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Cleveland Charge Family Life Center on Old Jackson Road in Kemper County east of Highway 495. Their children, Diann and Mike Carter and Robert M. and Pam George, along with their grandchildren, Jesse, Delene, Christopher, Katelynn and Price, invite family and friends to attend the reception. No gifts please.
