Janet R. Rawson and Terry Joe Irby announce their engagement.
The wedding will be Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Gwen Robinson and the late Jack Robinson. The bridegroom-elect is the son of Joan Irby of Meridian and the late J.N. Irby.
Ms. Rawson is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe B. Robinson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Burnell Banes.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Enterprise High School. She is employed by The Urology Clinic in Meridian.
Mr. Irby is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Irby, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Covington.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale High School and Mississippi State University. He is employed by Metro Ambulance Service.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
