Gilbertown theatre holds auditions

The Ballet &Theatre Arts Performing Companies of Gilbertown, Ala., will hold first auditions for "Arsenic and Old Lace" at 3 p.m. Sunday in the theater in Gilbertown.
All parts are open and the play has a cast of 14 actors. Come prepared to read and also stay for a first read-through of the play.
The main characters are two eccentric sisters Abby and Martha Brewster. Also prominent are their nephews Teddy, Jonathan and Mortimer. Teddy thinks he is president Theodore Roosevelt, Jonathan is a Boris Karloff look alike and sane Mortimer is a dramatic critic.
Other characters include: Elaine, Mortimer's girlfriend; Dr. Einstein, Jonathan's partner in crime; police and other characters. This show will go into rehearsals as soon as possible.
