Clarkdale slams Wayne County

Clarkdale improved it srecord to 11-1 and 5-0 in division play with an 11-1 massacre of Wayne County. Scoring for the Bulldogs were William Clinton, 3 goals, Chris Turner, 1 goal, Tyler Swanner, 1 goal, Jake Gray, 2 goals, Jonathan Pickett, 1 goal and 3 assists, Justin Culpepper, 1 goal and Dru Miller had 2 goals.
Clarkdale will play host to West Lauderdale at 7:30 on Monday night.

Lamar downed Central Hinds 2-0 on Wednesday night in boys soccer at home. Scoring goals for the Raiders were Randy B. Thompson and Dillon Anderson.

University Christian 2 (4-3, shootout)
Lamar eventually lost in a shoot out in a close game with University Christian on Thursday evening. Scoring Goals for Lamar were Chip Payne, Scott Owens, Randy Thompson, Drew Moffit and Wilson Thomas.

The Lamar Raiders dropped their eighth loss of the season on Friday night at Lamar School. Leading the 8-8 Raiders on the scoreboard were Brandon Harrison with 10 points and Jace Hill, Austin Roebuck and Taylor Dean all added 9 points each. Tyler Birch lead Copiah with 14 points.
Lamar will be back in action again tonight whe they host Adams Christian at 6 p.m.

Hunter Campbell lead the navy, whit and gold with 13 points and 15 rebounds in a 10 point victory for Patrician Friday evening. Campbell was assited by Brian Anderson who scored eight points and grabbed 13 boards.
The win gives Patrician Academy a 10-6 overall record and a 3-0 record in AISA region 2A. Patrician will play in Butler on Tuesday against Wilcox at 6 p.m.

The girls of Patrician Academy made it two wins for the saints on Friday night hanging on to beat Clarke Prep by 7.
Krisitn Andrews lead Patrician with 15 points while Katherine Bishop added 11 points of her own. Gina Norton also chipped in seven points and pulled down eight rebounds.

Pelahatchie 28
Union outscored Pelahatchie 28-7 in the second half to take the Division 6-1A contest at Union.
LaSaundra Harrison scored 16 of her 21 points in the third quarter as Union turned a slim 23-21 halftime lead into a 45-25 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
Union, 11-7, also got 10 points from Curbie Buckley.
Lakesha Gilbert led Pelahatchie with nine points.
