Brentnall, Fears

Cassie Hayden Fears of Meridian and Mark Barry Brentnall of Johannesburg, South Africa, were married Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Followell officiating.
Parents of the couple are Russell and Karen Fears of Meridian, and Gregory and Fiera Brentnall of Johannesburg.
Grandparents of the bride are Gary Haarala and Martha Haarala of Meridian, and Edward and Jessalyn Fears of Collinsville.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Brentnall of South Africa, Maria Pasut of Fontanafredda, Italy, and the late Ernesto Pasut.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Rus Fears, organist and pianist; Lisa Jenkins, soloist and pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a pearl strapless satin gown that featured a wide band beaded in a lattice pattern with bugle beads and seed pearls.
The bodice was trimmed in beading of pearls and rhinestones that fell softly into a full skirt. The lattice beading was repeated along the hemline and flowed into the full-length train.
Michelle Pennington of Meridian served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Kelli Woods of Meridian and Kalen Bosarge of Collinsville.
Lauren Haarala of Meridian served as flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Lee Baldwin of Raleigh, N.C., Bo Haarala of Meridian and Dave Woods of Meridian.
Program attendants were Ashlyn Hamilton, Lyn Denton and Jessica Hamilton.
A reception was held at Union Station following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Ashlyn Hamilton of Jackson, Jessica Hamilton of Caldonia, Lyn Denton of Jackson and Brittany and Kimberly Davis of Meridian.
After a honeymoon on a Caribbean cruise, the couple resides in Johannesburg.
