DEKALB Family members are continuing to wait for answers about how Porterville man Nick Naylor died last week.
Nick Naylor, 23, was found Thursday by relatives. Nick Naylor was hanged from a tree with a dog chain around his neck on Hopewell Road about 11/2 miles from his home.
Tracy Naylor, 33, said Tuesday that he and other family members just want to know whether Nick Naylor died as a result of a homicide or a suicide.
Kemper County Sheriff Sam Tisdale had no new information about the case today. Tisdale's Department and the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol are investigating and the FBI is also monitoring the situation.
Coroner Kathy Lanier said an autopsy was conducted late last week but that state pathologist Dr. Steven Hayne and investigators were awaiting results of further tests.
Lanier declined to be more specific Tuesday, other than to say: "We should know something by the end of the week."
Tracy Naylor is a forklift driver for Peavey Electronics in Meridian.
He said he did not know of anyone who wanted to hurt his nephew, whom he said was looking for work after having held a job at a Marion plant.
