Triple double keys Raiders win at home

The Lamar Raiders received another triple-double from Austin Roebuck to send its overall record back over. 500 Monday night.
Roebuck scored 23 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and had 12 blocked shots as Lamar beat Kemper Academy 64-42 on at the Lamar Gym.
Matthew Fort added 17 points for the Raiders who improve to 8-7 on the season. Jace Hill and Brandon Harrison each had six points.
Kyle Davis led Kemper with 13 points.
Kemper girls 47, Lamar 26
The Kemper Academy girls defeated Lamar School 47-26 on Monday night.
Kemper Academy led 14-7 at the half and then scored 16 in the third quarter to pull away.
Jasmine Harris led Lamar with seven points. Leigh Phillips had five.
Eve Darnel led Kemper Academy with 13 points.
Union girls 65
Thomastown 54
The Union Lady Jackets defeated Thomastown 65-54 on Monday night.
LaShondra Harrison led Union with 17 points and Kirby Buckley had 14. Casey Warren chipped in 12. Megan Tidwell and Marley Smith had eight each.
Thomastown received 15 from Lacora Beamon.

Thomastown 81
Union moved its division record to 4-0 with an 87-81 triumph over Thomastown at Union on Monday night.
Union improves to 7-6 overall. Thomastown falls to 12-4.
Derrick Harris led Union with 30 points. Anthony Johnson chipped in 18 and Rolando Blaylock had 15.
Thomastown got a game-high 37 points from David Harper.
Lamar boys soccer 3
Chamberlin-Hunt 2
At Port Gibson, the Lamar boys soccer team defeated Chamberlin-Hunt Academy 3-2 on Monday.
Lamar improves to 5-1-1.
Dylan Anderson scored all three goals. Scott Owen had two assists and Matt Owen had one for the Raiders.
