Sandberg, Smith

Emily Rebecca Smith of Collinsville and Jonathan Carl Sandberg of Jackson were married Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, at First Baptist Church in Collinsville with the Rev. David Sellers officiating.
Parents of the couple are Ricky and Wilma Smith of Collinsville, and Ken and Janice Sandberg of LaPlace, La.
Grandparents of the bride are Carlton and Mary Ann Smith of Collinsville.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Ken Sandberg Sr. and Mrs. Montie Simpson, both of Austin, Texas.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Maureen Sellers, pianist; Barry Germany, organist; Sam Bobo, trumpet; and Twyla Hurst, soloist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Shannon Leigh Smith of Collinsville served as maid of honor. Emily Kemp Lesley of Tupelo served as matron of honor.
Other attendants were Julie Denise Lang of Hattiesburg, Amy Amanda Sojourner of Jackson, Ginny Abigail Maslin of Jackson, Shannon Tapp Fraiser of Booneville, Martha Claire Carpenter of Greenville, Kathryn Elizabeth Holland of Hattiesburg and Adrian Elise Feldman of Nashville, Tenn.
Carlee Madison Edwards of Byram was flower girl.
Ken Sandberg Jr. of LaPlace and Stephen Sandberg of Beaumont, Texas, served as best men.
Groomsmen and ushers were James Rob Hembree, T.J. Williams and Vaughn Marcus Waggoner, all of Jackson, Richard Evan Smith of Collinsville, Robert Paul Fryant of Columbia, Mo., Marvin Daniel Waggoner of Baton Rouge, La., and Justin Robert Miller of Denham Springs, La.
Garrett Karl Boes of Austin, Texas, served as ring bearer. Registry attendants were Clare Coppenbarger and Norris Seitz. Program attendants were Anna Carty and Leslie Sanford.
An outdoor reception was held at the home of Gary and Connie Joyner.
Assisting at the reception were Amanda Henry, Gail Lang, Mary Jones, Mitt Hitt, Jan Hitt, Jenny Clair Hitt and Shelby Hitt.
After a honeymoon in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Ridgeland.
