50th anniversary
Gabe and Rachel Rawson will be honored with a reception celebrating their 50th anniversary on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. at Hebron Baptist Church. The reception will be hosted by their children, Steve Rawson, Debbie Rutledge, Randy Rawson and Tim Rawson. Family and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
50th anniversary
Margie and Laverle Wooldridge were honored with a golden anniversary reception, hosted by their children, on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, in the home of their son, Terry and his wife, Tiffany. The Wooldridges were married Dec. 8, 1952 in Houston, Miss. They have five children, Danny Wooldridge, Cindy Littrell, Terry Wooldridge, Jeremy Wooldridge and the late Steve "Bodie" Wooldridge; nine grandchildren, with one on the way, and five great-grandchildren. In early November, the couple traveled to the Smoky Mountains to the celebrate their anniversary and enjoy the fall colors.
