Amanda Hodges and Nathan Bailey, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002, at Gum Log Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerry Wilkinson officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. David Bailey of Bailey, and Mr. and Mrs. Randy Hodges of the Martin Community.
Grandparents of the bride are Malcom and Earline Hodges of Martin, and Kenneth and Berniece Lowe of Kosciusko.
Grandparents of the bridegroom-elect are Prue and Leon Bailey of Bailey, and Betty Faulkenburg of Birmingham, Ala.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a Demetrios gown with spaghetti straps and featured a beaded bodice with pearl beading that fell into a sheer tailored tulle skirt.
Nycole Creel of Meridian, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Other attendant was Anna Bailey of Meridian, sister-in-law of the bride.
Junior bridesmaid was Ragan Creel of Meridian. Madison Cove Creel of Meridian was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsman was Jason Creel of Meridian.
Reid Sabos was ring bearer. Program attendant was Nikki Morse.
A reception was held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon at the beach, the couple resides in Meridian.
