Mrs. Frink, 82, of Decatur, died, Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at her home. She was once employed with the former Decatur Shirt Factory. She was a member of Decatur Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Frink and his wife, Lynda, of Decatur; and Harold Frink and his wife, Kathy, of Hampshire, Tenn.; a grandson Brian Frink; two granddaughters Kevin Frink, Kim Frink Yarborough; a great-grandson, Caleb Frink; a great-granddaughter Ashlyn Doss; two brothers, Ancel Crawford and Jack Crawford; three sisters, Anges Blass, Alvie Smith and Audrey Mowdy; three sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Crawford and Bobbie Crawford and Sally Rowzee and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Isaac P. Frink, a grandson, Wayne S. Frink, two brothers, Joy Crawford and William R. Crawford; and a sister, Artie B. Crawford.
Pallbearers will be Brian Frink, Caleb Frink, Kevin Frink, Gerald Crawford, Ronnie Crawford, Robert Lee Glenn, Charles Wansley and Jake Yarbrough.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ruby E. Bennett

Services for Ruby E. Bennett will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Cokers Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Jessie Long officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bennett, 96, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home. She was a member of Cokers Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Bennett and his wife, Gladys, of Memphis, and Leonard Bennett and his wife, Barbara, of Meridian; a daughter, Betty Sue Bennett Harris, and her husband, Earnest, of Breckenridge, Colo.; nine grandchildren, Peggy Bennett Kenner, Betty Bennett Jacocks, Karen Bennett Moore, Leonard Nelson "Buddy" Bennett, Amy Bennett Russell, Cathy Bennett Castleberry, Raymond Glenn Harris, Phil E. Harris and Cindi Harris Krane; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, R.T. Bennett, and three sisters.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Bennett, Josh Bennett, Caleb Bennett, Daniel Bennett, Bennett Moore, Jud Moore and Jordan Russell.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at the church.
Charlotte Ann Dean

PHILADELPHIA Services for Charlotte Ann Dean will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Beatline Baptist Church with the Revs. Ben McDaniel and Terry Plummer officiating. Burial will be in Beatline Cemetery in Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Service, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dean, 58, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, James Alton Dean; two daughters, Renee Posey and Suzanne Gilmer; three sons, Terry Spears, Bobby Spears and Chad Spears; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her mother, Ora Maude Smith; two brothers, Willie Charles and Jimmy Banks Smith, all of Philadelphia; and a sister, Sue Hanna of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willie B. Smith and a daughter, Rhonda Kay Spears.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Effie McDonald Perry
PHILADELPHIA Services for Effie McDonald Perry will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Philadelphia with the Drs. Rory Lee and Dan Howard officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home of Philadelphia is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Perry, 89, died Wednesday Jan. 1, 2003, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Born the daughter of J.D. and Bertha McDonald, Effie grew up in Clinton. She received a bachelors of science degree from Mississippi College, where she graduated with special distinction at age 19. She came to Philadelphia as a teacher and taught for three years.
In Philadelphia, she met and married Marion Perry. They celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary last June. In addition to her husband Marion, she is survived by sons, Don and his wife, Evelyn, of Philadelphia; and Alan and his wife, Anne of Jackson. She was grandmother to five grandchildren, Lucy Perry of Berkeley, Calif.; Paul Perry of Jackson; Julie Perry of Portland, Ore..; Candace Lyn Perry of Jackson; and Amy Perry of New York.
Effie and Marion have been active supporters of Mississippi College. They established the Perry Gold Metal Awards, the J.D. and Bertha McDonald Scholarship and the Perry Endowment Fund For Merit Scholarships. In 1987 Effie and Marion were Alumni of the Year.
Effie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Philadelphia. She served in most offices of Baptist Women, Training Union, and as department director and teacher. Her adult Bible Class for Women attained standard recognition from the Baptist Sunday School Board.
She was instrumental in the organization of three General Federation of Women Clubs: Futura Club, Gavel Club and Women's Club. She was past state president of General Federation of Women's Club. In addition she was a charter member and past president of the Lydian Music Club.
She served as president of Mississippi Federation of Women's Club 1966-1968 and has held every office at both the state and district levels. She served as president of the South Central States Conference, GFWC, in 1968.
Effie is listed in Who's Who Among American Women and was named one of the best dressed women in the Meridian area and Mother of the Year in Mississippi in 1968. She was chosen "Beautiful Activist for Volunteer Service" for state recognition in 1974. She was honored as one of the 10 oustanding women volunteers in Mississippi in 1968.
She has been president of the Band Parents Organization, the Parent Teachers Organization and the Ladies Golf Club.
Community activities include participation in the Philadelphia Neshoba County Arts Council, member of Chamber of Commerce Committee, Epsilon Sigma Omicron Reading Club, Brown Bag Luncheon Club and den mother of the Cub Scouts. She sponsored and financed one sophomore a year for the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar.
Effie and Marion enjoyed growing vegetables, roses and other flowers, and shared them with their friends, church and for weddings and community affairs.
In addition to her husband, sons and their families, she is survived by two sisters, Mildred Hald of Waco, Texas, and Dee Puryear of Bryan, Texas, and a brother, E.J. McDonald of Culpepper, Va.
