Graveside services for retired Lt. Cmdr. Kenneth L. Templeton will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Gene Neal officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Templeton, 74, of Meridian, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at his home. He was a retired aviator who served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Bettie Templeton of Meridian; a son, Ken L. Templeton Jr., and his wife, Deborah, of Brandon; two grandchildren, Leigh Ann Templeton and her husband, John Francis, of Brandon; and seven sisters, Kathleen Roper, Elizabeth Bruggemeyer and her husband, Roger, Rosalie Grande and her husband, Norman, Trudy Mielke and her husband, Paul, Josie Green, Theresa Hubin and her husband, Tom, and Julie Adams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Francis and Anne Knoepker Templeton; and three brothers, Robert Joseph, Anthony John, and Thomas Henry.
Pallbearers will be members of Phi Kappa Delta.
Visitation will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Joann F. Roberson will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery in Philadelphia.
Mrs. Roberson, 53, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.
Survivors include her husband, B.J. Roberson of Philadelphia; a daughter, Cathy Roberson of Philadelphia; seven sons, Roy Sullivan, Tommy Sullivan, and Jerome Sullivan, all of Philadelphia, Mark Roberson of Walnut Grove, Steve Roberson of Carthage, Ronnie Roberson of Grenada, and Danny Roberson of Forest; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
JOHNNY STEWART JR.
Carpenter
Services for Johnny Stewart Jr., will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Dillon officiating. Burial will be in the Stewart Family Cemetery in Lauderdale County.
Mr. Stewart, 35, of Meridian, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, at his home. He was a self-employed carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Stewart of Meridian; two sons, Steven Stewart and John Stewart both of Meridian; a step daughter, Heather Anders of Meridian; his father, John Stewart Sr., of Meridian; three sisters, Betty Ruth Lopp of Palaski, Tenn., Patricia Durham of Newton, Ala., and Dorinda Cooke of Cornersville, Tenn.; and his grandmother, Myrtle Hutchinson of Dresden, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Stewart; and his mother, Bonnie Stewart.

Services for Myrtie Gressett Harvey will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tom Wood and Jamie Lamoreaux officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Harvey, 86, of Meridian, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include a daughter, Deloris Avara of Meridian; two grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Avara-Lott and her husband, Dr. Tracy Lott, of Meridian and Gary Avara and his wife, Vickie, of Flower Mound, Texas; two great-grandchildren, James Avara and Alisha Avara, both of Flower Mound, Texas; and a sister, Irene McPheeters and her husband, the Rev. Aubrey McPheeters, of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.L. "Rudd" Harvey.
Pallbearers will be Gary Avara, James Avara, Dr. Tracy Lott, David Barr, Al Parker, and John Wayne Hedgpeth.
Visitation will be Friday from noon-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for C. Eugene Williams Jr. will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Harrison officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, Penn., at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, with the Rev. Dr. Michael A. Rogers officiating.
Mr. Williams, 93, of Lancaster, Penn., died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, at Maple Farms Nursing Center in Lancaster.
Mr. Williams was born in Meridian and lived in Lancaster since 1967. He had previously lived in Tennessee, Wisconsin and New York. He called on shoe manufacturers, sporting goods manufacturers and other industries using leather for more than 17 years. He was associated with J. Greenebaum Tanning Company in Chicago and B.D. Eisendrath Tanning Company in Racine, Wis., and Flagg Tanning Company in Milwaukee.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Two/Ten International Footwear Foundation. He was a longtime, active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Lancaster.
Survivors include his grandchildren, a niece, and two nephews.

Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Ann Crowe, 62, of Meridian, who died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
