Services for Helen Fields Wolfe will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at First Christian Church with the Rev. Dr. Tom Sikes officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wolfe, 91, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002, in Westfield, N.J. She was a long-time member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include her son, William C. "Bill" Wolfe Jr. and his wife, Kay, of Canton; daughters, Dr. Beth Hill of Westfield and Kathy Apperfelder and her husband, Gary, of Cary, N.C.; a sister, Georgia Kirby of Knoxville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Wolfe Sr.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, 1301 23rd Avenue, Meridian, MS 39302.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Berensee, John Compton, Jerry Greene, Scott Morgan, Joe Pettey, Randy Pool and George Ranager.
Visitation will be Friday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Sarah Coleman
Retired from Queen City Nursing Center
Services for Sarah Coleman will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Cannan Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Coleman, 71, of Meridian, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her four daughters, Valerie Emerson, Barbara McNeil, Glenda Baskin and Brenda Hurn, all of Meridian; four sons, the Rev. Stanley J. Coleman of Meridian, Willie J. Coleman Jr. of Savannah, Ga., Robert C. Coleman of Taylor, Texas, and Terry C. Coleman of Kosciusko; a sister, Hennetta McCoy of Cleveland, Ohio; three brothers, Percy May of East St. Louis, Ill., John May and Ollie Jr. May of Cleveland; and 25 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday 4 p.m.-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lolee P. Wilburn

Services for Lolee P. Wilburn will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Haven Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wilburn, 85, of Meridian, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Eva Fleming and her husband, Leon, and Bobbie Hall and her husband, Thomas, a son, Matthew Wilburn and his wife, Ethel, and a sister, Gennette Hawthorne, all of Meridian; two step-daughters, Lillian Willis of Chicago and Rosie Griggs of Detroit; a step-son, Ernest Wilburn of Bronx, N.Y.; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Robert L. Almond
Retired
Services for Robert L. Almond will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Elizabeth Baptist Church in Lauderdale with the Rev. Terry Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Gibbs Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Almond, 83, of Lauderdale, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Ree Clayton Almond of Lauderdale; three daughters, Mary Wilson and Catherine Patrick, both of Cuba, Ala., and Annie Clayton of Lauderdale; six sons, Ernest Lee Almond, Early B. Almond, Robert Jr. Almond, Samuel Almond, Henry Lee Almond and Edward Eugene Almond, all of Lauderdale; a sister, Mary Almond of Des Moines, Iowa; two brothers, Johnny B. Almond of Lauderdale and R.L. Almond of Detroit.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Friday 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
