SEBASTOPOL Services for Celia Davis will be held today at 2 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Rev. David Hamm officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Davis, 83, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her son, Frank L. Simpson of Philadelphia; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Davis.
JOHNNIE LEE DEARMAN

QUITMAN Services for Johnnie Lee Dearman will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Greg Massey and John Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Clarke County.
Mr. Dearman, 82, of Quitman, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, in his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Laro H. Dearman; a daughter, Donna Long; and a sister, Rosella Carter, all of Quitman; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
GORDON J. STERLING SR.
Retired
Services for Gordon J. Sterling Sr. will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Thad Moore officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Sterling, 76, of Meridian died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He served in the Pacific theater during World War II. He was a life member of the VFW, a Mason and member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church. He was a member of Lake View Senior Golf Association, a longtime youth baseball coach, loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Sterling of Meridian; his children, Sharron Newton and her husband, George, of New Orleans, Gordon J. Sterling Jr., and his wife, Jan Valentine Sterling of Birmingham, Ala., and Mike Sterling and his wife, Nancy Gartin Sterling of Meridian; seven grandchildren, Buddy, Jennifer and Brad Newton, Jacob and Cathryn Sterling and Kelly and Michael Sterling; and one great-granddaughter, Morgan Newton.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be George Newton, Gordon Sterling Jr., Mike Sterling, Buddy Newton, Brad Newton and Jacob Sterling.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

NEWTON Arrangements were incomplete for Edwin Clark at James F. Webb Funeral Home. Mr. Clark, 72, of Newton, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Mississippi University Medical Center in Jackson.
