Dearman, Burchfield

Angela Michele Burchfield of Memphis, Tenn., and the Rev. Phillip Steven Dearman of Belzoni were married Saturday, May 18, 2002, at First United Methodist Church of Belzoni with the Rev. Dr. T. Scott Payne of Germantown, Tenn., officiating.
Parents of the couple are Doris Gene Burchfield of Cleveland and the late Mrs. Burchfield of Indianola, and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Steven Dearman of Enterprise.
Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. James Davis Burchfield of Indianola and the late Mr. Burchfield.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Robert Wesley Boles of Stonewall and the late Mrs. Boles.
Nuptial music was provided by Billie Stephenson Payne, pianist; Kevin Bryan Black, organist; Jennifer Diane Baker, Stacy Ellyn Edgeworth, Andrea Leigh Stephens, and Christopher Scott Copeland, vocalist. Liturgist was Marsha Hull Tindall.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a designer original gown of pearl silk satin. The strapless formal gown featured trapunto detailing beading on the bodice and above the hemline. Trapunto covered buttons looped the gown to the sweep train. Her veil of silk illusion fell from a jeweled tiara. The bride carried a bouquet of bridal white callas and roses.
Tracey Lynnette Taylor of Houston, Texas, served as maid of honor.
Other attendants were Elizabeth Payne Adams of Indianola, Amy Hull Burchfield of Laurel, sister-in-law of the bride.
Honorary bridesmaids were Amy Carol Blackman of Chicago, Elizabeth Anne Dunn of Nashville, Tenn., Michelle Farish Hannabass of Hattiesburg, Stephanie Alford Hill of Isola, Nicky Crawford Presley of Mooreville, Mario Diane Tipton of Pascagoula and Dawn Harper Ward of Tupelo.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man.
Groomsmen were Michael Shane Burchfield of Laurel, brother of the bride, Jay Scott Morgan of Belzoni and Lewis Breck Frazure of Durant.
Rose petals were distributed by Anne Scott Lucy and Ellen Morgan.
Program attendants Faith Tedford and Kathrine Childress.
A reception was held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Scott Morgan following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon trip, the couple resides in Belzoni.
