Head, Hodges

Ricky and Gail Head of Florence announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Michelle, to William Edward Hodges Jr., son of Lynn and Carrie Latham of Meridian, and Bill Hodges of Jackson.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Jones Memorial Presbyterian Church in Meridian.
Miss Head is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William V. Touchstone, and Mr. and Mrs. Samuel E. Head, all of Saucier.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Florence High School, received an associate's degree from Hinds Community College and is pursuing a nursing degree at Hinds Community College.
While at Florence High School, she was a member of Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta, and Who's Who Among American High School Students.
Mr. Hodges is the grandson of Carolyn Jones of Meridian and the late A. J. Jones Jr., and Edward R. Hodges of Meridian and the late Patsy Hodges.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Newton County Academy and Meridian Community College.
While attending Newton County Academy, he was a member of National Honor Society, the high school basketball team, FBLA and FCA.
Mr. Hodges is employed by Mitchell Signs.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
