Upchurch, Poole

Annie Elizabeth Poole of Emelle, Ala., and Robert Garner Upchurch of Livingston, Ala., were married Saturday, June 1, 2002, at Livingston United Methodist Church with the Revs. Martin Murphy and Tim Meadows officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Knox Poole of Emelle, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Edward Upchurch of Livingston.
Grandparents of the bride are Ann Pierson of Tuscaloosa and the late J.D. Pierson of Centreville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Poole of Emelle.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Peler Williams of Columbia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Perry Upchurch of Livingston.
Allison Poole of Emelle attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Susan Alston of Birmingham, Ala., Kylie Amato of Toomsuba, Sommer Bell of Boligee, Deidre Cartee of Birmingham, Michelle Clark of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Jennifer Estes of Northport, Ala., Tory Minus of Emelle, Leigh McDaniel of Livingston, Leslie Puckett of Starkville, Shea Shepherd of Birmingham and Mary Kennon Spree of Scottsdale, Ariz.
Junior bridesmaid was Elizabeth Waddell, and the flower girl was Emily Waddell, both of Emelle.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Grant Buck of Emelle, Mike Cole of Livingston, Ed Hauser of Birmingham, Byron Howell of Demopolis, Ala., Andrew Poole of Emelle, John Upchurch of Livingston, brother of the bridegroom, Sam Upchurch of Livingston, brother of the bridegroom, and Josh Williams, uncle of the bridegroom.
Ushers were Lucas Dial of Livingston, Kyle Edmonds of Tuscaloosa, Bobby Hussey of Troy, and Tom Powell of Atlanta.
Following a honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in Tuscaloosa.
