PATTY BLAND PARK

Services for Patty Bland Park will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church with the Rev. James Ruffin and Dr. Thad Moore officiating. Burial will be in Brasfield Cemetery in Burnwell, Ala., Thursday at 4 p.m. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Park, 61, of Meridian, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, David H. Park of Meridian; two sons, David H. Park Jr. and his wife, Lela, of Bossier City, La., and Gregory S. Park, and his wife, Clara, of Oxford; two step grandsons, Austin Gray and Lee Gray of Oxford; a sister, Joan Nix, and husband Clyde, of Burnwell, Ala.; three nieces, Lesley Hughes and her husband, Jason, of Birmingham, Ala., Cherie Robinson and her husband, Steve, of Russellville, Ala., and Melissa Thompson and her husband, Rex, of Selma, Ala.; two nephews, Michael Nix of Nashville, Tenn., and Ryan Nix and his wife, Leslie, of Northport, Ala.; sisters-in-law, Joann Gray and her husband, Williams, of Russellville, and Peggy Bland of Alabama; and her mother-in-law, Mamie Nix of Panama City, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her brother, James Terry Bland.
Pallbearers will be Jack Satcher, George Jones, Irvin Martin, Alvis Smith, Wade Allen and Jack Medlin.
Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and beginning at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
JAMES SHELDON WILLIAMSON

Services for James "Jim" Sheldon Williamson will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Clay Chancelor officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Williamson, 71, of the Causeyville community, died Monday, July 22, 2002, in Causeyville.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Williamson of Causeyville; a son, Ricky Williamson and his wife, Ann, of Stonewall; daughters, Donna Shirley and her husband, Randy, of Meridian, Barbara Christian and her husband, Willie D., of Cuba, Ala., and Tracy Runnels and her husband, Tim, of Toomsuba; 13 grandchildren, Michael and Steven Shirley, Ashley Vann, Tracy Chapman, Carl Singley Jr., James David Runnels, Jessica Williamson, Hollie and Sherri Williamson, Kim, Bryan, Danny and David Hardin; 30 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Robinson and her husband, Johnny, of Bucyrus, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Ema Jane Walker of Hammond, La., and Margaret Williamson of Bucyrus; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Sadie Williamson; brothers, Alton and Arnold Williamson; and a grandson, Lance Shirley.
Pallbearers will be Carl Ray Singley Jr., Steven Shirley, Marty Hagwood, Stacy Chapman, Michael Shirley, Roger Robinson, Dewayne Robinson and Curtis Kirkland.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
EDWARD LEE SMITH
Services for Edward Lee Smith will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Smith, 44, of Meridian, died Sunday, July 21, 2002, in his home.
Visitation will be Thursday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Thelma G. Godwin, 84, who died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, in her home.
GIORA RANCHER
Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home of DeKalb for Giora Rancher, 77, of Scooba, who died, Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Meridian Community Living Center.
