JOHNATHAN ANDREW MARS
Services for Johnathan Andrew Mars will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Buddy Petty and Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Johnathan Mars, 4, of Meridian, died Friday, May 31, 2002 at his home. He was momma's angel baby and was a special child that will be missed by all those that knew him.
Survivors include his parents, Andy and Robin Mars, his brother, Josh Mars, his maternal grandparents, Lena and Norman Beitzel, his maternal grandfather, Clyde Garrett, and his paternal grandfather, Johnny Mars, all of Meridian; his great-maternal-grandmother, Lorena McGrew of Collinsville; his great-paternal-grandmother, Cynthia Smith of Meridian; his uncle, Joey Garrett and his wife, Tonya, of Meridian; three aunts, Amber Roberts and her husband, Robert, of Hickory; Lisa White, and Angie Denney and her husband, Mark, all of Meridian; and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Esther Smith Dennis.
The family requests memorials be made to Johnathan Andrew Mars Cancer Fund at Community Bank.
Pallbearers will be Mark Denney, Robert W. Roberts, Joey Garrett and Randy Mars.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Retired farmer
Graveside services for Robert Gary Keeton Sr. will be held today at 2 p.m. at Enondale Memorial Cemetery with the Revs. Doug Stokes and Docky Hunnicutt officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Keeton, 79, of Porterville, died Friday, May 31, 2002, at his home. He was a member of Enondale Memorial, served in World War II and a former Kemper County District 2 Supervisor.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Hatcher Keeton of Porterville; five children, Lena Myers of Sparr, Fla.; Jerry Keeton and his wife, Becky, of Porterville; Lynn Burnett and her husband, Kerry, of Sumterville, Ala.; and Gladys Cook and her husband, A.J., and R.G. Keeton Jr. and his wife, Cathye, all of Meridian; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ola Keeton, his father, William T. Keeton, a grandchild, Rachel Keeton, a great-grandchild, Shyanne Schmick, a sister, Mae Oden and a brother, Jack Keeton.
The family requests memorials be made to the Diabetic Association, the Enondale Cemetery Fund or their favorite charity.
Pallbearers will be Leslie Clyde Grantham, Billy Hatcher, Sonny Hamner, Doug Moore, Marvin Keeton, Albert Bartlett, Clark Hatcher, Gerald Pogue and Dr. Don Marascalco.
CONNOR RAY LONG
MILLRY, Ala. Services for Connor Ray Long will be held today at 3 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. John Daily and Jimmy Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery in Millry with Phillips Funeral Home of Millry in charge of arrangements.
Connor Long, 5, of Millry, died Friday, May 31, 2002, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro.
Survivors include his parents, Stevie and Dee Long of Millry; paternal grandparents, Lathon and Betty Long of Silas; and a maternal grandmother, Ruth Habegger of Berne, Ind.; two sisters, Amanda Long McAlpine and Dafne Long Stokes, both of Mobile; two nieces, Emily Stokes and Julie McAlpine; and a nephew, Dalton Stokes.

PHILADELPHIA Graveside services for Exa Tidwell Perry will be held today at 4:30 p.m. at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia with the Rev. Dr. James Shull officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Service Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Perry, 94, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at her home.
Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Majure of Philadelphia; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Perry in 1987.
Visitation will be today at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
FRANCES R. IVY
Homemaker
Services for Frances R. Ivy will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Janie Lamorezux and Marvin Holyfield officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Ivy, 80, of Lauderdale, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at her home. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and friend.
Survivors include her husband, Wilma W. Ivy of Lauderdale; a daughter, Cynthia Rawson and her husband, Billy, and a granddaughter, Blair Rawson, all of Meridian; a sister-in-law, Syble Holyfield and her husband, the Rev. Marvin, of Pascagoula; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Rawson and a son, George P. Ivy.
Pallbearers will be deacons from Briarwood Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
