    DR. JACK D. HOLLINGSWORTH
    Retired teacher
    TUSCALOOSA, Ala. Graveside services for Dr. Jack D. Hollingsworth were held Saturday, May 4, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Heritage Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
    Dr. Hollingsworth, 75, of Tuscaloosa, died Thursday, May 2, 2002, in Tuscaloosa.
    He was a 1945 graduate of Hickory High School and received his bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Alabama. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Georgia and taught school in Georgia and Alabama.
    Dr. Hollingsworth was a strong supporter of Special Olympics and served as state director of Special Olympics in Georgia in 1972. Moving back to Alabama, he served on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of Alabama Special Olympics.
    He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Tuscaloosa where he served as a deacon and an elder. He was also a member of Gideon International.
    Dr. Hollingsworth was a retired U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was also retired from the Partlow State School of Alabama.
    Survivors include his wife Dorothy (Dot) Dutton Hollingsworth, to whom he was married 42 years; a son, Jack Darel Hollingsworth Jr. and his wife Barbara; two granddaughters, Keri Owen and Andrea Cartree and her husband Michael; three great-grandchildren, all of Hiram, Georgia; a sister, Elsie Brandon and her husband Vernon of Meridian; a sister-in-law, Dora Hollingsworth of Leland; and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Melissa Hollingsworth; and two brothers, Everett Hollingsworth and Dwight Lancaster.
    ZELL JORDAN
    Housewife
    UNION Services for Zell Jordan were held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Marcus Finch officiating. Burial was in Union City Cemetery.
    Mrs. Jordan, 91, of Union, died Thursday, May 9, 2002, at Magnolia Regional Personal Care in Union.
    Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Read and her husband James of Ellisville; two sisters, Naomi Webber of Cleveland, and Betty Jo Clifton of Grenada; a brother, Jack Williams of Nashville, Tenn.; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Martin Jordan.
    ROSCOE HARBOUR
    Retired fireman
    DEKALB Graveside services for Roscoe "Sonny" Harbour will be held today at 3 p.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery with the Revs. Sam Hull and Lannis May officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Harbour, 66, of DeKalb, died Saturday, May 11, 2002, at his residence.
    He was a retired fireman with the Civil Service, a member of DeKalb United Methodist Church and a Shriner.
    Survivors include his son Chris Harbour and his wife Tracy of DeKalb; a daughter, Debra Harbour Mattox of DeKalb; a brother, Elbert Lamar Harbour of Hazelhurst; and seven grandchildren, Donice and Kevin Fletcher, Hailey and Hanna Tess Harbour, Sara, T.J. and Michael Mattox.
    He was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Robinson Harbour.
    Pallbearers will be Robert Hudspeth, John Lee Harbour, Frederick Dale Harbour, Joe Rush, Frankie McRae and Jim Vandevender.
    Visitation will be today from 2 p.m.-2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
    DOROTHY M. DAVIDSON
    Retired nurse
    Services for Dorothy M. Davidson will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jason Gross officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery.
    Mrs. Davidson, 78, of Suqualena, died Friday, May 10, 2002, at her residence.
    She was a retired nurse of East Mississippi State Hospital where she served for 26 years. She was also a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
    Survivors include her daughter Carole Ann Brewster of Meridian; a son, Larry Davidson and his wife Wanda of Suqualena; five grandchildren, Louis DeWayne Jones and his wife Jennie of Park Forest, Ill., Angela Chris Davidson and James Dwight Jones, both of Meridian, Shelby Lea Brown and her husband Bruce of Meehan, and Jennifer Fleming and her husband Chip of Scooba; two great-grandchildren, Chelsey Leigh Dew of Meehan and Haley Ann Jones of Park Forest; three sisters, Francis Edwards of Conehatta, Marion Thornton of Decatur and Edith Neal of Union; and one brother, Roger Graham of Newman, Ga.
    Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    ERNEST J. DEARMAN
    Retired carpenter
    Graveside services for Ernest J. Dearman will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Hugh Poole officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Dearman, 67, of Meridian, died Saturday, May 11, 2002, in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
    He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a wonderful dad, husband and grandfather.
    Survivors include his wife Bettye Dearman of Meridian; a daughter, Tammye Dearing and her husband Jerry of Duncanville, Ala.; three grandchildren, Phillip, Jared and Brianna Dearing; four sisters, Delores King of Meridian, Joanne Davis of Cullman, Ala., Jeanette Watkins and Sandra Dearman, both of Pasadena, Texas.
    The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
    Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    FRED MOORE
    Retired mechanic
    MACON Services for Fred Moore will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Bobby Joe Butler and Gerald Butler officiating. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery.
    Mr. Moore, 76, of Macon, died Saturday, May 11, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.
    Survivors include his wife Katherine Moore of Macon; two sons, Freddie Moore of Tupelo and Gene Moore of Macon; three grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Ann Rosser of Goshen, Ind., and Mary Lois Combs of West Point; three brothers, William J. Moore, Eugene "Bubba" Moore and Morris "Buddy" Moore, all of Macon.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, B.R. and Cora Sloan Moore.
    The family requests that memorials be made to Palmer Home for Children.
    Visitation will be today from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
    RAYMOND E. THOMPSON
    Retired manager
    Services for Raymond E. "Bubba" Thompson will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ralph Nenson and Kevin Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
    Mr. Thompson, 69, of Meridian, died Friday, May 10, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    He was a retired meat market manager for A and P Grocery, a Southern Baptist and a member of the Moose Lodge. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved all who loved him.
    Survivors include his wife Aurella Thompson of Meridian; three sons, Randy Thompson and his wife Kim of Enondale, Ronnie Thompson and his wife Debbie of Pearl, and Doug Thompson and his wife Anna of Meridian; five grandchildren, Natalie, Chad, Alex, Randy Boyd and Allyson Thompson; several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his mother Cannie Purvis; and a brother, James "Cooter" Thompson.
    Pallbearers will be Buddy Rainer, Billy Kinard, Jimmy Sullivan, Freddie Monsour, Raymond Moore, Ralph Arrington, Gerald Wayne Thompson, Poochie Piggott and Huett Stoddard.
    Honorary pallbearers will be James Skipper, Snoot Monsour, Chick Gossett, Harold Powell, Tommy Monsour, Larry Neal, Walter "Horse" Hurst Sr., Gray Johnson, John Dick and W.L. Miller.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
