Raytheon benefits from $134 million Air Force contract

The U.S. Air Force has awarded a contract worth $134 million to the McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company.
Senate Minority Leader Trent Lott and U.S. Rep. Chip Pickering made the announcement Monday.
The contract award includes an obligation of more than $87 million for radar systems upgrades on F-15 aircraft. Twenty-nine percent of the work will be performed at Raytheon Systems Company in Forest.
