MELBA FERGUSON BRIDGMON
Services for Melba Ferguson Bridgmon will be held today at 2 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Cliff Pace officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bridgmon, 67, of Meridian, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Beck Bridgmon of Meridian; son, Wendell Bridgmon of Meridian; daughters, Ann Stone of Birmingham, Ala., and Melinda Klinakis of Atlanta; seven grandchildren, Scott Stone, Stacy Bates, Brandon Bridgmon, Crystal Stone, Jason Bridgmon, Daniel Bridgmon, and Nicholas Klinakis; three great-grandchildren, Kayla Bates, Belle Stone and Justin Bates.
She was preceded in death by her son, Sam Bridgmon.
Visitation will be today 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Mercer, Edwin Lummus, Don Tindle, Tommy Cook, Kenneth Jones and Chris Winkelman.
Honorary pallbearer will be Jackie Roberson.

MACON Services for Jeanette Richards Burnley will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Gerald Butler and Bobby Joe Butler officiating. Burial will be in Mashulaville Cemetery with Cockrell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Burnley, 69, of Mashulaville, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Jake Burnley of Mashulaville; a daughter, Lissa B. Wilson of New Albany; a son, Gary Hurt of Columbus; two brothers, Amos Richards of Many, La., and Rod Richards of Memphis; four grandchildren, Chad and Adam Wilson, and Jeremy and Hannah Hurt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R. Weber and Alma Pearl Otis Richards.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Mashulaville Cemetery Fund.
Visitation will be today from 2:30 p.m. -3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Alice Marie Dahlke Duett will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Pastor Philip Wottrich officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
Mrs. Duett, 84, of Meridian, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a homemaker and retired owner and operator of Dahlke Motors and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Johnnie J. Duett of Meridian; a daughter, Mary Alice DuBose, and her husband, Terry, of Meridian; a son, Robert Dahlke and his wife, Sharon, of Meridian; four grandchildren, Phillip and Katie Dubose, and Robby and Ashley Dahlke.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Dahlke.
The family requests that memorials be made to the building fund at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m. -7 p.m. at the funeral home.
OLIVIA MERLE WILLIAMS ARCHER

Services for Olivia Merle Williams Archer will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at First Christian Church with the Rev. Dr. Tom Sikes officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Archer, 84, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
A member of First Christian Church, she was a former elder at Trinity Presbyterian Church and a past president of Meridian Symphony League.
From 1953-1954, she was president of the PTA at Marion Park Elementary School and from 1962-1963 she was a Deb Social Club Mom.
She was a Bible study leader for 50 years and mentored three future Presbyterian ministers. While a member of Central Presbyterian Church, she mentored one future astronaut.
She was an active member of the Ostomy Society and ministered to many patients.
Survivors include two daughters, Olivia Warner and her husband, Don, of Meridian, and Carol McOlgan and her husband, Jerry, of Olive Branch; a son, B.B. Archer and his wife, Sally, of Meridian; nine grandchildren, Jeff McOlgan of Memphis, Greg McOlgan and his wife, Shannon, of Collierville, Tenn., David McOlgan and his wife, Hallie, of Jonesboro, Ark., Jason McOlgan of Memphis, Deanna McLean of Oxford, Shannan McLean Ward and her husband, Alan, of Birmingham, Ala., Hallie Archer of Oxford, Anne Clay Archer of Oxford, and Kate Archer of Meridian; two great-grandchildren, Hayden McOlgan and Corbin McOlgan.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Archer.
The family requests that memorials be made to First Christian Church.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Greg, David and Jason McOlgan, Alan Ward, George Booth, Johnny Pollman, Billy Wolfe and Bob "Skew" Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders of First Christian Church and Bethany Sunday School class.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the church.
LURA MARGARET D. CAMPBELL
Services for Lura Margaret D. Campbell will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jimmy Gunn officiating. Burial will be in Sageville Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Campbell, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at her home.
Survivors include her husband Bennie Campbell; a daughter, Gift Rainey and her husband Kevin; and two grandchildren, Andy Rainey and Ashley Rainey, all of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pascal and Nona Drew.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
