    OBITUARIES FOR SUNDAY, OCT. 28, 2001

    UNION Graveside services were held for Evie Marie Langford on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Rusty Walton officiating. Burial was held at the cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Langford, 89, of Union, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at Hilltop Manor Nursing Home.
    Survivors include her daughter, Marie Hollingsworth, her son-in-law, Carl Hollingsworth, and her daughter-in-law, Polly McElhenney, all of Decatur; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

    Graveside services for Alton Lowrey Williams will be held today at 3 p.m. at Rosehill Cemetery of Brookhaven with the Revs. Greg Warnock and the brothers of Brookhaven Masonic Lodge No. 251 officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Williams, 84, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at his home. He was a retired radio dispatcher for the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookhaven and was a master mason for 5 years with Brookhaven Masonic Lodge No. 251.
    Survivors include his wife, Earleen Prestridge Williams, a daughter, Judy W. Graham, and a grandson, Hardy P. Graham, Jr. all of Meridian; a granddaughter, Lee Graham Morphis of Greensboro, North Carolina; a brother, Gary Williams of Brookhaven; a sister, Carol Jean Ball of Jackson, Ala.; and four great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Irma Williams, and three brothers, J.E., Charles and Kenneth Williams.
    The family request memorials be made to Horizon Hospice of Decatur.
    Visitation will be today from 2 p.m.-3 p.m. at the church.
    Pallbearers will be the Masons.

    Retired poultry farmer and gospel singer
    UNION Services for Joseph J. "Bud" Jones will be held today at 2 p.m.
    at Reid Chapel Church of God with the Revs. H.L. Rhodes, Hulon Evans, and C.M. Jinder officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home of Union in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Jones, 75, of Union, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was known all over the state for singing convention style gospel music.
    Survivors include his wife, Sallie Vance Jones of Union; his son, Randall Jones and his wife, Mona, of Union; his daughter, Shirley McKee of Meridian; four grandchildren, Marty McKee, Shanna McKee, Monica Williams and Jason Jones; his great-grandchild, Emily Rose Williams; his sister, Flora White of Conehatta; and two brothers, Rev. Jim Jones of Conehatta; and Sam Jones of Ingallis, Tenn.
    He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Joseph Lee McKee and Billy Joe Jones, and two brothers and a sister.
    Visitation will be today from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home, and 1:30 p.m.-2 p.m. at the church.
    Pallbearers will be Marty McKee, Jason Jones, Richie Williams, Alon Williams, Kenneth Graham and Charles Graham. Honorary pallbearers will be the Mississippi State Singing Convention Singers.
    DR. ROBERT MARSHALL GRAHAM
    Retired urologist
    Services for Dr. Robert Marshall Graham will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Lannis May and Robert Entrekin officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
    Dr. Graham, 73, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at Silverleaf Manor. He was a retired urologist. He worked as a urologist with Meridian Urology Clinic for 40 years and was a member of Union United Methodist Church of Porterville.
    Survivors include his wife, Mary B. Graham, of Meridian; his daughter, Roberta Swain and her husband, Ronnie, of Savannah, Ga.; five sons, Ernest Graham and his wife, Julie, of Columbia, Maryland; Phil Graham of Los Angeles; Leon Graham and his wife, Shelia, of Meridian; Ken Graham and his wife, Melanie Ryan, of Lutherville, Maryland; and Tom Graham of Memphis; seven grandchildren, Benjamin and Meg Graham, Vashti Graham, Tommy and Joe Graham, and Beth and Brooke Swain.
    He was preceded in death by Ernest and Cervera Graham.
    Visitation will be today from 6 -8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers will be Billy Williams, Sam Gressett, Dr. Woody Abraham, Harold Midget, James Boyd, Marvin Keeton, Jack Amerson, Bob Thomas, Fred Rogers, Jr., Walter Rogers and William Rogers.
