OBITUARIES FOR TUEESDAY, OCT. 16, 2001

PAULINE MCLEMORE

Services for Pauline McLemore will be held today at 2 p.m. at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church with the Revs. Nick Holden, Edsel Wells and Barry Skelton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McLemore, 71, of Meridian, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church, the Joy Sunday School Class and the ladies prayer group.
Survivors include her husband, Carol McLemore of Meridian; two sons, Danny Davis and his wife, Faye, of Meridian and DeWayne Davis and his wife, Marie, of Philadelphia; two daughters, Jane Holloman and her husband, Mike, of Natchez and Vicki Gatlin and her husband, Steve, of Meridian; grandchildren, Stephanie Wesberry, Angi Jones, Autumn Gatlin, Abby Gatlin, Wendy Windham, Mandy Davis, Alana Davis and Allen Davis; great-grandchildren, Macy Jones and Keaton Jones; five sisters, Doris and Wendell Spears and Jennie Smith, all of Orange Park, Fla., Bobbie Faye Thrash of Meridian, Martha and Ron Hopkins of Dallas and Linda Rucker of Philadelphia; and two brothers, Mason and Edsel Thrasher, both of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Iva Dean Clark; and a brother, Jerome Clark.
Pallbearers will be the deacons of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church, Carl Wiggins, Wayne, Pickard, Jim Piggott, Ralph Aycock, Steve Landrum and Glen Beasely.
LILLIE RUTH REYNOLDS
METAIRIE, La. Services for Lillie Ruth Reynolds will be held today at 2 p.m. at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Whynot, Miss.
Mrs. Reynolds died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001, at Waldon Nursing Home.
Survivors include her children, Juanita R. Novick, Raybourn M. Reynolds and Jesse M. Reynolds; seven grandchildren, Patricia Leger, Anna Novick, Valli Reynolds, Raybourn Reynolds Jr., Faith Ann Reynolds, Lonnie C. Reynolds and Jesse M. Reynolds Jr.; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Clyde Reynolds; her parents, Milton Hill and Lula Hardin Hill; and siblings, Naomi Todd, Vera Robinson, Willie Johnson, Annie Creel, Opal Robinson and Woodrow Hill.
CHARLES D. BRANTLEY

PHILADELPHIA Services for Charles D. Brantley will be held today at 2 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Revs. Charles Barnett and John Stephens officiating. Burial will be in High Hill Cemetery in Sebastopol.
Mr. Brantley, 66, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001, at Neshoba County General Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include three daughters, Pam Trippe and her husband, George, of Lena, Gail May and her husband, Larry, of Raleigh and Charlene Scott and her husband, Glenn, of Chunky; three sons, Gerald Brantley of Childersburg, Ala., Larry Brantley and his wife, Letha, of Forest and Michael Brantley of Philadelphia; a sister, Glenda Pinson of Little Rock; a brother, Keith Brantley of Union; special friend and fiancee, Mary Clark of Philadelphia; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
DAVID GREGORY BROWN

Services for David Gregory "Greg" Brown will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dr. Ralph Henson Jr. and Chris Atkinson officiating. Burial will be in Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Brown, 31, of Gulfport, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Arrowood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Pamela Stevens and her husband, Roy, of Meridian; a sister, Cheryl Brown of Meridian; a brother, John D. Brown of Greenville, Ala.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence David Brown.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
ETHEL ELIZABETH MCSHANE
Services for Ethel Elizabeth McShane will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Chan Hearn officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Ms. McShane, 49, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include four sons, Charles Tims and his wife, Tanya, Daniel McShane, Derrick McShane and LaShune McShane, and a daughter, Latrice McShane, all of Meridian; five brothers, Willie McShane and his wife, Massey, of Detroit, Henry McShane, Robert McShane, Greg McCaleb and Barry McCaleb, all of Meridian; six sisters, Cassandra Jennings, Lillian Anderson, Dorothy McCaleb, Patricia McFarland, Lorraine Hearn and Marion McCaleb, all of Meridian; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
EMMA LEE KELLY
Services for Emma Lee Kelly will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kelly, 79, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, in her home.
Survivors include two daughters, Tommie Edmonds of Boligee, Ala., and Beverly Kelly Faulkens and her husband, Eddie, of South Bend, Ind.; two sons, retired Master Sgt. Lemuel Kelly Jr. and his wife, Tommie Jean, of Oklahoma City and Richard Kelly and his wife Ceatrice who was a devoted loving daughter-like daughter-in-law, of Meridian; 13 grandchildren, Lou Edmonds, Jean Batch and her husband, Willie, Emma Edmonds, all of Boligee, Anthony Kelly and his wife, Marda, Lemuel Kelly III, all of Oklahoma City, Katrina Barnes, Brittany Kelly and Justin Kelly, all of Meridian, Rob Faulkens and his wife, Phyllis, Andrea Faulkens, Chris Faulkens, all of Indianapolis, Ind., Derrick Faulkens of South Bend and Brian Faulkens of Brickeys, Ark., and 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rutha Wideman of Boston and Evangelist Elvira Smith of Birmingham; two brothers, William Alexander of Meridian and Ted McBride and his wife, Patricia, of Birmingham; a brother-in-law, Danny Clay and his wife, Betty, of Birmingham; two long-time close friends, Audrey Clayton and Charlotte Faulkens; and several nephews, nieces, cousins, other friends and acquaintances.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lemuel Kelly Sr. and her parents.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
DOCK GAITOR
Retired logger
Services for Dock Gaitor will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Daleville with the Rev. Cleveland Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Daleville Cemetery Thursday at 11 a.m. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Gaitor, 104, of Daleville, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, in his home.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Alexander of Daleville, Gertie Baylor of Cleveland, Ohio, and Novella Gaitor of Chicago; two sons, Phlenoid Gaitor of Chicago and Tommie Gaitor of Bedford Heights, Ohio; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the church.
