Adopt-a-pet Saturday at Bonita Lakes Mall

Families looking for a pet can do so Saturday at Bonita Lakes Mall.
The Humane Society relies on volunteers to house unwanted animals. Interested families have often had difficulty finding how to adopt these animals.
White said this should be the first in a series of events which will allow the Humane Society to match families with pets.
Families adopting pets Saturday must pay a $25 fee. They also will receive a gift bag with a certificate for 20 percent off all services the next three months at Pet Services; food samples and other supplies from the Animal Medical Center; and free kids meals from Chick-fil-A.
The Iams Corp. will provide literature about caring for the pet.
White and Long both stressed that unwanted pets should not be dropped off at the mall on Saturday.
