Ferrera, Davison

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hines of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Duan Ferrera of Houston, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Melody Ferrera, to Brain Jeffrey Davison, son of Betty Jo Shuffler of Mesquite, Texas, and the late Dave Davison.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001, at 7 p.m. at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houston.
Miss Ferrera is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duval Ferrera and Mr. and Mrs. William Dudley III, all of New Orleans.
The bride-elect is a graduate of the Mississippi School of Math and Science. She received a degree in business analysis, management information systems, from Texas A&M University. Miss Ferrera is employed by Arthur Andersen in Houston.
Mr. Davison is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Abner of Dallas, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Carmouche of San Sara, Texas.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of W.J. White High School in Mesquite and received a degree in history and political science from Texas A&M University. Mr. Davison is employed by CMS Energy.
A reception will be held at the Rockefeller Hall in Houston following the ceremony.
