Mulligan, Carrier

Sandra Anne Carrier of Bailey and John Charles Mulligan Jr. of Prattville, Ala., were united in marriage Saturday, April 28, 2001, at St Paul's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Merrill Wade officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John Carrier II of Bailey, Linda Moscetti of Prattville and John Mulligan of Great Meadows, N.J.
Music was provided by Barry Germany.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a simple Sabrina neckline Duchess satin gown accented at the empire set-in band, treated with blizzard beading. The back featured double-banded spaghetti straps on each side covered with clear bugle beads and seed pearls. The hemline and train were also adorned with a band of blizzard beading.
Her multi-layered elbow-length veil was edged in satin and held in place with a beaded comb. Her bouquet of lavender and white roses was wrapped in satin ribbon with rows of pearls.
Maid of honor was Alicia Khaler of Phoenix, Ariz., and matron of honor was Sonya Carrier of Meridian, sister-in-law of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Laura Bates of Adamsville, Ala., Barbara Johnston of Springfield, Va., cousin of the bride, and Kathleen Mulligan of Prattville, sister of the bridegroom. Flower girl was Victoria Brooke Windstead, daughter of the bride.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Browder of Birmingham, Ala., John Carrier of Meridian, brother of the bride, Milledge Gordan of Prattville and David Thomley of Montgomery, Ala.
Bubble attendant was Ashlyn Johnston of Springfield, cousin of the bride.
A reception, hosted by bride's parents, was held at D.T. Grinders following the ceremony. The couple were taken from the church to the reception in a horse drawn carriage.
After a honeymoon in Orlando, Fla., the couple resides in Birmingham.
