Mathews, Neal

Mr. and Mrs. Felton Mathews Jr. of Trussville, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer, to John Lelan Neal, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Douglas Neal of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at 2 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church.
Miss Mathews is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Roth of Margate, Fla., Felton Mathews Sr. of Barnesville, Ga. and the late Elizabeth Mathews.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and received a bachelor's degree in information systems from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, she was a member of the Association for Information Technology Professionals.
Mr. Neal is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Campbell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Neal, all of Columbia.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Neal is employed by Plant The Earth.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
