Billy and Charlene Calvert
Billy and Charlene Graham Calvert were married May 5, 1951, in Meridian. Family and friends are invited to join them at a reception celebrating their 50th anniversary on Saturday, May 5, 2001, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Highland Baptist Church. The event will be hosted by their children, Jimmy Calvert, Randy Calvert and his wife, Melanie, and their
grandchildren, Graham, Justin, Amy and John Calvert. The couple requests no gifts.

Baptist Church Family Life Center. Their children Niki Fields, Belinda Cross and Cindy Cross will host the event. The couple was married May 5, 1951. Family and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.

25th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry L. Skelton
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry L. Skelton of Meridian recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with family and friends. The Skeltons were married on April 16, 1976, at Christ Lutheran Church in Meridian. The couple has four children, Jonathan, Jason and Lindsay. Their daughter Marissa died in 1986. They have two grandchildren, Nathan and Kaitlin. Mrs. Skelton is the former Rebecca Barnhill.

The Rev. and Mrs. Bobby Jones
The Rev. and Mrs. Bobby Jones will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception on Sunday, May 6, 2001, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the fellowship hall of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in the Hero Community. The event will be hosted by their daughters, Lynn McGee of Lake and Jane Beeland of Madison. They have six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Mrs. Jones is the former Ernestine Bolton. Family and friends are invited to attend.
59th anniversary
Dave and Eva Louise Tunno
Dave and Eva Louise Tunno of Meridian will celebrate their 50th anniversary with their daughter, Charlotte and grandson, Nathan, on May 4, 2001. Eva, formerly of Hattiesburg, married then Sgt. Dave Tunno, U.S. Army Air Corps. Mrs. Tunno is a noted artist, doll maker and collector. Mr. Tunno, who served 22 years in the military, was a combat veteran of World War II and Korea. He retired as a major in the U.S. Air Force.
