60th anniversary
MR. AND MRS. FRANK M. RAGSDALE
Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Ragsdale will celebrate their 60th anniversary with a reception on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Oakland Heights Baptist Church. Hosting the event will be their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The couple's children are: Frank and Sarah Ragsdale and Randy Ragsdale, all of Meridian; John and Carolyn Ragsdale of Baton Rouge, La.; and Michael Ragsdale of Brandon. Their gift to each other for this occasion was a new home at 8301 Mosley Crossing Road. The couple requests no gifts.
50th anniversary
MR. AND MRS. PHIL W. DAVIS
Mr. and Mrs. Phil W. Davis of Meridian recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. The couple were married on Nov. 30, 1950, in Lauderdale County. The Davis' have four children and eight grandchildren. Mr. Davis is retired from Deposit Guaranty National Bank and Mrs. Davis is a homemaker. They attend Highland Baptist Church.
