Steven Ray Burfield, 46, Moulton, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012, Akins Funeral Home, with Bro. Rick Chenault officiating. Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Lawrence County.

Pallbearers will be Zac Flannagin, Jody Cook, Stevie Simpson, Chris Everett, Scott Griffioen, Lynn Harville. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Burfield, Jr. and Joe Woodhull.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Burfield, Jr.; stepfather, Leo Godgiben.

He is survived by his children; Stephanie Cook and husband, Jody, Jessica Flannagin and husband, Zac, Steven Burfield, Jr. and wife, Felicia, and Jeremy Burfield; mother, Lucille Godgiben; siblings, Edward Burfield and wife, Lassie, Judy Macafee and husband, Charles, Joyce Simpson and husband, Leander, Debra Griffioen, Lisa Burfield and husband, Dan; five grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Catholic Chapel.
