Tri-match wins give RHS 29-8 record
The Russellville High volleyball team hosted the Lawrence County Red Devils and the Lexington Golden Bears for a trimatch and the Golden Tigers got wins over both teams.
First, RHS defeated Lawrence County 3-0 by scores of 25-17, 25-11 and 25-20 to improve the Golden Tigers’ area record to 2-1 with one regular season area match remaining versus West Point.

After the victory over the Lady Devils, Russellville (29-8 on the season) defeated Lexington 2-0 by scores of 25-9 and 25-22.
Against Lawrence County, Blevyn Sappington and Laila Hill had 12 kills each. Fatima Ramirez added 16 assists. Sappington served five aces. Bri McCulloch had 22 digs, and Erin Grimes added 10 digs. Team leader in blocks was Bella Malone with five.
Versus Lexington, Hill led the Lady Tigers with eight kills and Sappington had six. Ramirez added 10 assists and Groce followed with six. Sappington led the way with nine digs, Hill had eight, Groce and McCulloch added seven each, and Grimes had five.
