Annual Cottons for Christmas Sock drive underway

The Franklin County Women’s Leadership Committee, a division of Alabama Farmers Federation, is seeking donations for its annual “Cottons for Christmas.” Donations requested are for new socks that will be distributed to residents in one of the county’s nursing homes.

Donation/collection boxes will be at the following locations:

• Franklin County Courthouse/Extension Office (Leave donations with one of the courthouse security guards.)

• ALFA Insurance Office-Russellville

• ALFA Insurance Office-Red Bay Cottons for Christmas is oneof themanycommunity efforts the Franklin County Women’s Leadership Committee works on each year to give back to the community.

Take sock donations to one of the above locations by Dec. 2.
