Spirit of Hodges festival takes place Saturday
This painting celebrates the spirit of Hodges through the artistic renderings of Alabama muralist Missy Miles, a resident of the Bexar community, which is located outside of Hamilton.

Spirit of Hodges festival takes place Saturday

The Hodges volunteer fire and rescue departments invite the community to attend the annual Spirit of Hodges festival this Saturday, to take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the town park in Hodges. Activities will include vendors, live music, inflatables, the chance to win door prizes and more. For more information, call 205-935-3445.

Other upcoming festivals in Franklin County include Spruce Pine Day, to be held Oct. 19 in downtown Spruce Pine, and the second annual Franklin County Latino Heritage Festival, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. in downtown Russellville.
