Abby Davis and Olivia Taylor combined for 16 points in the third quarter to break a halftime tie and lead the Phil Campbell Bobcats to a 72-65 win over the Wilson Warriors.

The Bobcats dropped 10 three-pointers in the game.

Phil Campbell jumped out to a 7-0 lead early in the game, but Wilson battled back to take a 19-16 lead in the first quarter.

Cailtlyn Mills scored seven points in the first quarter, but Davis picked up three fouls, which limited what she was able to do defensively for much of the rest of the first half.

The Bobcats battled back in the second quarter, outscoring the Warriors 18-15 to tie the game 35-35 at
halftime.

Phil Campbell outpaced Wilson 21-15 in the third quarter thanks, in part, to Davis’ and Taylor’s shooting. Kallie Allen took over for the Bobcats in the fourth quarter with two straight baseline layups to help secure Phil Campbell’s win.

Mills led Phil Campbell with 19 points, including four three-pointers. Allen followed with 16 points. Taylor added 13 points and Davis 10 points. Katie Thomas finished the game with eight points, and Kaci Harris added five
points.
