PC gets one win, one loss

Phil Campbell 83, Wilson 64

Luke Garrison scored 11 of Phil Campbell’s 30 third-quarter points as the Bobcats blew past the Wilson Warriors in the second half to win 83-64 Nov. 19

Wilson started off the game hot, jumping out to a quick 9-1 lead. Phil Campbell quickly fought back into the game and led 21-15 at the end of the first quarter. Owens score nine points in the first quarter for the Bobcats.

Wilson stormed back in the second quarter, outscoring Phil Campbell 20-8 to take a 35-29 halftime lead.

Phil Campbell came out of the halftime locker room on fire. Brett Saint and Garrison hit back-to-back three-pointers to lead a 12-0 charge and give the Bobcats a 41-35 lead.

Wilson finally stopped the Bobcats’ run with 5:41 to go in the quarter, but Phil Campbell would lead by as much as 46-37 in the third quarter.

Garrison led the Bobcats with 25 points. He was followed by Saint with 17 points, Owens with 13 points and Riddle with 12 points. Ben Williams finished the game with seven points, Barnwell with five points, Francisco Jimenez with two points and Austen Baker with one point.

Oakman 68, Phil Campbell 50

Garrison and Riddle combined for 14 of the Phil Campbell Bobcats ‘18 first quarter points against Oakman in the Red Bay Tipoff Invitational Saturday. However, the Bobcats would cool off significantly as the game progressed, losing 68-50.

Phil Campbell took an 18-13 first quarter lead, but after that, it was all Oakman.

Garrison and Riddle led the Bobcats, scoring 15 points each. Saint added seven points. Williams and Owens scored three points each.
